About Bikini :  

Opened in 2002 and owned and run by Andy Morahan and Kate Elson, Bikini has planted its feet firmly in the ‘Noho’ turf. The production of commercials and music videos that are memorable and visually enticing and that simultaneously perform for client and strike a chord with audiences is an aim that has been part of the company from the start and one that has seen it enjoy increasing success. 

The productions now undertaken by Bikini, stretch across every continent and comprise of some of the most innovative, creative and well-respected work in the world, often in collaboration with the most renowned companies and technicians known to the industry. The company has grown rapidly in stature and reputation worldwide and the many years of production experience brought to the table by the carefully selected team of staff add up far beyond  years and put Bikini in a unique and enviable position in the production market: 

Kate Elson
(Managing Director/Partner)
An effervescent presence at the Bikini, Kate has been the company’s bedrock; instrumental in putting together a hard-working, creative team who have been responsible for some of the most inspiring and refreshing work since the beginning of Bikini. Prior to Bikini, Kate was Executive Producer at Harry Nash Productions (formerly The End) for four years, seeing the company sign Ringan Ledwidge, Fredrik Bond and Andy Morahan as directors and go on to win Production Company Of The Year. Elson came to Harry Nash from RSA where she was Director’s Representative and Head Of PR. This came about as a result of her position as Account Director at a PR company responsible for RSA’s press relations.

 

 

 

Before that, Kate set up the PR department at Bates UK, where she was also Creative
Co-ordinator to Executive Creative Director Tim Ashton.


Andy Morahan
(Partner) is a veteran director of a multitude of commercials and music videos and has worked with some of the biggest names in the international music scene – Guns’n’Roses; Elton John; George Michael; Michael Jackson and many more.

 Phil Barnes (Head of Production) previously with Patricia Murphy Films and formerly owner of his own production company (Shooting Stars Productions), Phil has produced/executive-produced some of the most memorable and innovative videos of recent times. He also has a wealth of experience in commercials, including Sidonia De Aragoa (a Europe-wide project for the Lisbon Expo 98, involving a ground-breaking mix of live action with a 3D-designed background) and Whirlpool’s global launch in 2000 (a 5-week shoot with Patricia Murphy directing, involving a complex blend of live-action and post effects).

Simon Eakhurst
– (Producer) is a Producer with a wealth of experience to his name, who is accustomed to working on large-scale jobs on a global scale, from Australia to South America and throughout Europe, such as Ford (7-day shoot), BP (5-day shoot in Rio de Janeiro) and Heineken (5-day shoot featuring several football stars). The majority of his work for Bikini Films has involved experimentation and developmentt of post effects to fit each job.
