Andy’s diverse capabilities have sees him equally at home with a multitude of filming techniques and styles and platforms. Notably, he has recently shot an epic spot for Pilsner – beautiful and cinematic. This visually dramatic film takes us on a journey of discovery through Africa, then went straight on to shoot the trilogy of the acclaimed feature film series “Goal”, the story of a young Mexicans dream of competing at 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals in Germany. Constantly evolving as a director and comfortable with both large and smaller budgets, Andy has recently turned his hand to Gillette (AMV), Veet (JWT), TK Maxx, and a challenging, confrontational spot for Greenpeace. He also lists Carling ‘Football’, Bacardi ‘My Buddy Franco’, Lynx ‘Wild Women’, John Smiths and Rimmel among the many brands on his Commercials CV. With his career continuing to grow and diversify, in 2002 Andy opened Bikini Films with Kate Elson. Through Bikini Andy’s list of directing credits has become even more impressive, with work for BBC, DOE Road Safety, Vodafone, Ford, RAS Insurance and Dexia, as well as international campaigns for Smirnoff, VW (DDB Amsterdam), Uncle Ben’s (BBDO Paris) and Toyota, featuring Leonardo Di Caprio.

Andy is also involved in the development of several feature and short film projects, THE SPIRIT directed by Joseph Fiennes and Exec Produced by Elson and Morahan recently won best short and the Berlinale Cinema de Peace. In collaboration with his business partner, Kate Elson, they have set up a features division Bikini Line, which is partnering with the established feature company Arcane Pictures in London. Upcoming projects on their slate include THE WASP FACTORY, based on the novel by Iain Banks and to be directed by Meiert Avis; and THE SECRET, based on a novel by Francis Ryck, by director David Mould. Andy is also attached to direct two features in 2008, GODSPY and THE UNTITLED ABSINTHE PROJECT. Andy has directed two other movies “Highlander 3” starring Christopher Lambert and “Murder in Mind” for HBO starring Nigel Hawthorn and Marie Louise Parker. Bikini has just signed a transatlantic deal with Looking Glass Films headed up by Academy Award winning producer June Gutterman, whose diverse and distinguished roster includes David Mamet, Alek Keshishian, Alfonso Arau, Jean Jacques Annaud, Steven Antin, Danny Boyle, Kerry Conran, Chad Einbinder, Renny Harlin, Angelica Houston, Marc/Andy, Francine McDougall, Marine Panossian………This alliance further instates Bikini and Andy’s belief that talenated film makers are applicable across all platforms, from youtube through to big screen.
